We have taken delivery of four new high quality handmade hardanger violins. These are commissioned by us to our own design.

Two have been sold already to waiting custmoers but there are two available for sale now. They are both set up with our finetuning tailpieces. One of these has violin F holes which we have found are preferred by some preferred by some players. However, its thicknessing is authentic hardanger giving it the disctinctive hardanger ring. The other has traditional hardanger F holes.

These have been made by master luthiers in Europe and are made out of finest Carpathian tonewood timber.

We have been asked to supply our revolutionary tailpieces separately. These make tuning sypathetic strings much easier to do. We were recently commissoined to make one for a viola d’amore. This was very successful. If you are interested in these please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Our three hardangers have all sold quickly. We have had a great interest and fantastic feedback on instruments. We will be commissioning some more new hardanger violins soon. We love everything about Hardangers and after a lot of research, including making our own hardanger, we have developed our hardanger fiddle design. So exiciting!!

Our philosophy has been to concentrate on the quality and tone of these fantastic instruments and find a way to make them that is reasonably affordable for people like us! Our hardangers are simple but true to the tradition. We believe they are absolutley fantastic value for money for instruments of this quality.
