Our three hardangers have all sold quickly. We have had a great interest and fantastic feedback on instruments. We will be commissioning some more new hardanger violins soon. Welcome to our site on Hardanger fiddles or – in Norway – Hardingefele.

We love everything about Hardangers and after a lot of research, including making our own hardanger, we have developed our hardanger fiddle design. So exiciting!!

We have now taken delivery of our first handmade hardangers which have been crafted to our own design. These are high quality oil varnished instruments made from top quality seasoned tonewood timber sourced from the Carpathian alps.

Our philosophy has been to concentrate on the quality and tone of these fantastic instruments and find a way to make them that is reasonably affordable for people like us! Our hardangers are simple but true to the tradition. We believe they are absolutley fantastic value for money for instruments of this quality.
